FACILITIES & FUNDING

“If you think research is expensive, try disease”

CORE FACILITIES

Our Core Facilities provide researchers with access to state-of-the-art equipment, in-house expertise, and training.

We are supported by eleven facilities, whose remits range from genomics and proteomics to whole animal imaging. The facilities play a crucial role within the Institute, working in partnership with research groups to support innovation, and ensuring our scientists are using the most up-to-date technologies to streamline their research.

Bioinformatics, Flow Cytometry, Genomics, Histopathology and ISH, Imaging, Light Microscopy, Pharmacokinetics and Bioanalytics, Pre-clinical Genome Editing, Proteomics, Research Instrumentation and Cell Services, Scientific Computing

CAMPUS FACILITIES

Our lab is in the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, a department of the University of Cambridge, core funded by Cancer Research UK. The institute is located within the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC), the largest life sciences cluster in Europe, and its state-of-the-art core facilities and scientific environment are key ingredients making our magic possible. The campus and institute provide critical equipment, support and training as well as the capacity to develop bespoke technologies.

This unique environment has a proven track record of academic and translational impact. Follow these links for further information about The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and The Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
